Anastasios Moreas

I am a qualified teacher of Greek language and philosophy. I studied theology and science of religion at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Later, I studied classical philology (ancinet Greek & Latin literature),Byzantine philology, modern Greek philology, linguistics, educational sciences and philosophy at the University of Ioannina. Over the years, when exactly I turned 26 years old I realized that I am a born writer. Since then, I really love spending my free time by narrating short stories and creating romantic as well as surrealistic poems.However, I cannot hide another one passion which nurtures my soul and feeds my spirit: the traditional art of oil painting. I am a self-taught painter in oils,keen writer of short tales and poems, and an amateur romantic photographer. My work moves between still life, landscape and portrait — a red onion on a table, a tree above a bay, a face held in charcoal — and, at night, the camera turns to moonlight over rooftops.
